Kayley

One of my best friend's is obsessed with aquatic life. I think it's so cool, and what she's already done is truly amazing. Did you know that there's a part of a lobster trap called the "kitchen?" I only know this because my friend, Kayley, is pretty experienced in the world of lobster fishing.
She never misses "Shark Week" or "Deadliest Catch" on the Discovery Channel and Jaws is her favorite movie of all time.

Her mother even sent her a sympathy card when Roy Schieder died. (Police Chief Brody in Jaws)

So, when I asked her what was on her top list of things to do before she kicks it, I shouldn't have been surprised with her answer. It's one of the craziest things I've ever heard of, and will probably be one of, if not the, most creative answer I get.

Kayley said that she's always wanted to go to Port Lincoln in Southern Australia to take part in a Great White Shark Cage Diving Expedition.

I told her she was crazy, especially when I saw pictures of what takes place. It would definitely be a once in a lifetime experience. I truly hope one day that she gets to experience her dream of swimming with the sharks.

Happy Living, Morgan

  2. I used to swim in the ocean when I was a kid. The idea that there are things big and dumb enough to eat me in there? No thanks...

  3. I would probably think about swimming with sharks but when it came down to it I never would. That's scary!

  4. I like the pictures you're posting with your blog. I can't wait to see the video!

Watch the formatting on the pics, it's squishing the text a bit at the top. I think you can fix that with a little tweaking.

  7. Sharks are a huge obsession of mine as well (if the blog didn't give it away) and I've been seriously looking into cage diving as well. It would be incredible to be that close with sharks. Tell your friend good luck with the dream and that she's not the only crazy one out there!
